After several years of teaching classes from a church hall, in late 2004 Melbourne Hapkido Centre moved to a new purpose equipped, professional facility.

Our club now features approximately 200 square meters of permanently matted training area, which allows both realistic and safe Hapkido practice throughout the club.

There is also a dedicated fitness circuit area which includes a range of martial arts and fitness training equipment such as punching bags of various sizes, speed balls, uppercut bags, kung-fu wooden dummy, chin up bar and variety of other fitness equipment.

The facility is located close to shops and public transport on Glenhuntly road Carnegie and is only a short walk from Glenhuntly station. The number 67 tram passes by the front door.

We had the honour of having the club officially opened by Guro Dan Inosanto on 11th December 2004. Guro Dan is one of the most highly regarded martial artists in the world today and the only person graded by B.Lee in the ultimate form of his martial art.
